The windows swing inward and can be mounted horizontally or vertically to meet your specific needs.Please note: Aluminum framing is not included in this kit.Specifications:Overall window size: 40 1/2″ x 9 3/4″ x .125″EZ Open tabs dimensions: 1.5″ x .5″Finished Opening with Gasket: 8 3/4″ x 39 1/2″Finished Opening without Gasket: 9″ x 39 3/4″ Installation Instructions:For Mounting with Gasket: Add a 1/2″ spacer block behind each hinge and EZ Tabs to achieve the correct spacing for the gasket to seal against the wall. Center the window in the finished opening and attach the hinges with screws. For a 30″ Window, install EZ Tabs 6″ in from the outside edge at the opposite side of the hinge. On a 42″ Window, install EZ Tabs 10″ in from the outside edge at the opposite side of the hinge. The screw for the EZ Tab should be tightened, yet still allow the tab to rotate.For Mounting without Gasket: Press the window against your gasket mounted in the finished opening, and measure the distance from the wall side of the hinge to the wall.
